The plant material is extremely critical to the design & many factors must be considered before we ever choose it. The site conditions are first on the list... we must install the right plant in the right location if it is to thrive. We feel that the landscape should have a mix of plant material that includes both deciduous & evergreen trees and shrubs for good structure, perennials for color and texture, bulbs for early season interest, and even berries to attract wildlife like birds.

The plants we choose are hand selected from a variety of nurseries that specialize in providing 'Class A' plant material. It is not uncommon for us to source the plants for just one job from 4 different growers. Because we are so selective in our material choice, whether it's the plants or some other job material, we never feel as if we compromised just to get the job done.
