TRADITIONAL TERRACE

To get the most usable flat space we transformed a steep hillside by building terraces, retaining walls, and staircases. A custom fieldstone fire pit that converts to a coffee table is centered on the bluestone lounge terrace. As summer winds down, the family enjoys getting cozy fireside. Artisanal masonry and delicate flowers in a traditional setting creates a worry-free atmosphere.

We built a new deck that would accommodate overflow dining and cooking right off the kitchen. A waterproof decking system enables a finished ceiling beneath the deck, creating a lounge area with a hot tub, conveniently located next to the basement. The hanging swings are a favorite summer hangout spot for the kids. The design and build improvements enhance the experience of outdoor living at its finest.
